As International Women’s Day draws to a close for another year I would like to give a huge shout out to….me!

Because nearly 9 years ago I was epic enough to welcome this quirky, gorgeous soul into the world. Kieran may have been involved somewhere but hey, this is my day 😂

Today Quinn went to school dressed as a word he’d like people to know more about. He went dressed as him. He chose his word; Autistic, and he rocked it.

He was so proud going into school this morning, my big lad might struggle at times but boy does he know who he is – his need to let people know that autism is good and cool and quirky and not mad or crazy (as some Y3 kids suggested) is amazing.

At 39 I often feel like I struggle to know my true self. Turns out I only need look at Quinn for advice on knowing your self worth.
