Professor writes book on anti-vaccine movement

JONESBORO — Jonathan Berman, an assistant professor of basic sciences at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University, has addressed the anti-vaccine movement in a book that was published earlier this month by MIT Press.

“Anti-Vaxxers: How to Challenge a Misinformed Movement” provides a history of the movement, scientifically examines the claims of anti-vaxxers, and suggests a strategy for countering them.
