Howdy Sara!
Thank you for sharing your engagement story! It brought joy to my heart and a tear to my eye. I’m happy for y’all and wish you the best!
I don’t watch shows about autistic people usually because they feel too exploitative or get it wrong. But, I’m glad they’re there because they help bring autism to the consciousness of non-autistic folks and makes it more acceptable and less scary for them. It normalizes it for people who haven’t ever realized they’ve met an autistic person.
Huzzah!
