Autistic children are too regularly exploited, and are victims of abuse and neglect. To make this issue worse, this often goes unseen when the vlogs doing the exploitation are depicted as “family friendly” or “inspirational” as many of them are. The most recent public example of this, and a quite shocking example, is of a large YouTube family channel with over 300,000 subscribers titled, “The Stauffer Life” that adopted, then decided to “rehome” their adopted autistic child three years later.. …
