5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Show Floor Opens at 6:30 p.m.
Join Autism Speaks at First Look for Charity as we pay homage to the “Greatest Auto Race on Earth.” In 1908, this great race began in New York City, en route to Paris.
In honor of the event, we’ll travel the culinary course, visiting various checkpoints along the way—Chicago, San Francisco, Japan, Berlin and more.
Upon entering the show floor, guests will be greeted with champagne, and a “first look” at the Chicago Auto Show.
The event will feature live music throughout the night, in addition to several interactive test tracks and other demonstrations from the vehicles on display.Guests of Autism Speaks are invited to gather before the show floor opens for a private reception in Room N427CD, complete with abundant hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and good company.
Two guests will win big—a new car!
The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a completely redesigned mid-size sedan that offers fuel efficiency and high-tech features. The all-new 2011 Honda CR-Z is a stylish two-passenger coupe with an emphasis on efficient “green” performance. Winners will be announced from the Main Stage on the show floor after 8:00 p.m.CR-Z compliments of American Honda Motor Company. Sonata compliments of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Hyundai Dealers. Prize vehicle winners must be present to win.
Black-tie attire mandatory.

Very special thanks to Agatha DeFranco for chairing Autism Speaks’ participation in First Look for Charity for the second year running.
As an Autism Speaks board member, Agatha is passionate about raising awareness and expanding outreach into the Chicagoland community. Agatha is wife to John DeFranco, M.D. and mom to sons Joey and Nick, who are both on the autism spectrum, and their big brother Johnny.
As mom to her three handsome boys, Agatha is also passionate about raising funds to improve the future for everyone who struggles with autism.
