This is what parents of Autistics have to do to find help and support.

If @AutismSpeaks focused on anything but finding a ‘cure’ or pushing studies to prove the vaccine/autism connection (they pushed so hard they eventually proved it to themselves that vaccines don’t cause autism, much to Bob Wright’s chagrin) we wouldn’t need to be doing this now.

We’d have 20 years of infrastructure created to support Autistic people to live, get jobs, live in appropriate housing, .have real health care and mental health care, actual accommodations that work (ABA is a tragedy fest).

Instead we have parents seeking support in grand ways for hope that a business might give their Autistic kid a chance to work.

Now Autism Speaks wants to tell us their helping create jobs for disabled people?

You already had that chance. You failed.

Now go away. You’ve caused enough suffering for my children. For myself.

Autistically,

Eve Reiland
