Most Autism charities are not what you think. The majority of them gank dollars, donations and invent hope for a ‘cure’ or ‘recovery’ to vulnerable parents.
Parents have been gamed for decades by Autism Charities. They’ve been manipulated, lied to and taught dangerous at-home toxic therapies to help their children ‘recover’ from autism.
These therapies have harmed, killed and are an incredible danger to Autistic children around the world.
These are NOT good organizations. Many are founded by folks who have a profitable interest in commodifying autism.
So how does that work? Commodifying Autism?
First generate an incredible scare: Vaccines cause Autism.
- Then create organizations to help support these families who believe their children have been vaccine-harmed.
- After that, teach them how to ‘heal and recover’ their child from Autism.
- Then sell them the treatments not available at their pediatrician to ‘heal and recover’ their child.
- Then create and own companies that cater to the Autism Fears and or benefit from the cash flow of products purchased. (GFCF diet anyone?)
- And dont’ forget, make sure to aim this horror story at the demographic with the most money — Mom-fluentials (it’s a real marketing demographic) — and bam! Millions. And more millions.
But hey BIG PHARMA! is what J.B. Handley has folks focused on while he and his cronies are raking in the $$$ and harming Autistics worldwide in the process.
And now with preventable diseases becoming prevalent again …
Well, looks like the entire world got a dose of this man’s bullshit and suffered greatly for it. (Also, don’t discount Handley’s Scientology connection and their biomedical treatments, but that’s a different post to be written yet.)
Autism has been used as a scheme for people to use non-profits to generate a massive amount of funds, and bankroll their lifestyles – and on the backs of one of the largest minority groups on the planet: Autistic people.
These charlatans and snake oil sales people thought they knew us. They thought they could silence us when we spoke up.
They thought they could poison us for profit … and they did.
For decades this has been happening.
Autistic activists have been fighting the harm the entire time. Help us stop the bullshit and abuse.
The time is now to stop Autism Charities and the lies, the bullying and the bleach.
Shut them down.
Shut them down! Shut down all of the #BleachCult non-profits and protect Autistic children and vulnerable people.
Want to see what I see? Follow the trail …
2005 J.B. Handley goes off on vaccines, creates a cult phenomenon that affects the world.
Even in 2005, there was great concern about the harm and death attributed to J.B. Handley’s “chelation therapy” to remove the “vaccine-harm” from children.
2005 | In the headlines …
One Portland family pushes a fix for the autism “epidemic.” (J.B. Handley is Jamie’s Father.)
Jamie is autistic, and his parents blame the disorder on mercury poisoning.
They treat him with a $180-a-bottle tincture of amino acids that binds to mercury and other heavy metals in his body and flushes them out with his urine.
The Handleys have faith that the treatment, called chelation (“key-LAY-shun”), will eventually cure their son, halting his disruptive, repetitive behavior, social disinterest and inability to communicate.
The biomedical movement has thrived in Oregon, perhaps because of a local openness to alternative medicine. The multimillion-dollar business supporting the biomedical regimen includes an Oregon company, Kirkman Labs, which sells many of the pricey vitamins and supplements used by parents.
The DAN! website lists nine Oregon practitioners—including MDs, naturopathic physicians and acupuncturists—willing to prescribe a range of biomedical treatments.
While the Handleys still insist chelation is making their son better, they admit they don’t have an easy answer for the death this August of 5-year-old Abubakar Tariq Nadama, whose parents had moved to the United States from England in search of a cure for autism.
So in 2008 Handley goes on TV, freaks out the world and then pushes ‘healing and recovery’ with toxic substances, special diets, and more.
He’s got Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey battling with him in the “mercury mafia.”
But Hey Did You Know J.B. Handley is ALSO a business man?
J.B. Handley Co-founded and co-managed Swander Pace Capital.
Swander Pace Capital played a role in more than two-dozen investments in private consumer companies including Applegate Farms, American Hard Cider Co., Central Coast Surfboards, and Reef Holdings.
Over on the Autistic Front …
We are protesting AppleGate Farms for their promotion of quackery with their food brand and partnership with Autism Hope Alliance – absolutely known #BleachCult front.
Applegate, the nation’s leading natural and organic meat brand, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Autism Hope Alliance, the first non-profit foundation for Autism to emerge from the natural foods industry.
As Applegate continues to fulfill its mission of bringing consumers high-quality, worry-free foods, the brand proudly offers more than 65 Autism Approved products – providing a variety of delicious options for families searching for gluten-free, casein-free options.
Autism Hope Alliance is an Autism Charity that’s really a front for the #Antivaxxer #BleachCult.
They are promoting “Autism Approved” food and other items. (For the record: No Autistics were involved in the approval process for their company to make such a seal and statement.)
The goal here is to ‘heal and recover’ Autistics through biomedical and other harmful, and absolute shit (sometimes literally) “autism treatments” that cured or helped no Autistic ever — but, you know, some have died.
So here is a list of #Bleachcult posing as charities and profiting from business deals on the side … and the Autism scare, well they generated that just to do this.
The #BleachCult list and affiliated just in this post:
- J.B. Handley
- Andrew Wakefield
- Jenny McCarthy
- Jim Carrey
- Generation Rescue
- Autism Hope Alliance
- Applegate Farms
- Hormel Foods
- Age of Autism
- Kirkman Labs
- Swander Pace Capital
- American Hard Cider Co.
- Central Coast Surfboards
- Reef Holdings
And FYI folks, these folks aren’t as smart as @AutismSpeaks and the ABA commodifcation cycle. Bob Wright (and pals) is the real genius here … where this pattern of commodification is most intense.
Autistics have been commodified and it’s time to stop the bullshit with these “charities.”
Help us put an end to the abuse and harm. We need real healthcare.
Hormel Foods Press Release
Applegate Announces Partnership with Autism Hope Alliance
Brand offers a wide variety of Autism Approved products that adhere to the Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet
A GFCF diet is recommended for individuals with autism looking to reduce inflammation as a reaction to gluten and casein. These reactions may link to the brain and intensify behavioral symptoms of autism, such as mental difficulties, anxiety and mood abnormalities.
“When you have a child with Autism so many things change, but mealtime shouldn’t be one of those things,” said Kristin Selby Gonzalez, Autism Hope Alliance president. “Bringing the family together for a meal is so vital, which is why we look to partner with brands like Applegate that offer gluten-free and dairy-free options for our families. We feel if a child can feel good, then they can do good.”
Applegate offers GFCF products that can be incorporated at breakfast, lunch, and dinner such as Applegate Organics® Chicken and Maple Breakfast Sausage, Applegate Naturals®Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets, and Applegate Naturals® Beef Hot Dog.
“We recognize that allergens are a serious matter for many families and is one of the motivating factors as to why we choose to keep our ingredient lists simple and clean,” said Nicole Glenn, Applegate vice president of marketing. “Transparency is one of our core values, which is why we make it easy to search for specific allergens on our website in addition to labeling common allergens on product packaging.”
