Supernova – Jake Allen Sharp

It is the end of all things, I am standing on the sun silently awaiting supernova

It seems like yesterday the world had just begun, hard to believe it is over

Hear the trumpets sound, the shaking of the ground, thunder peels as lightning flashes

I watch it all unfold just as it was foretold, dust to dust, and ashes to ashes

Standing high above, the stars disappear, falling from the heavenly place

I take my orders and wield my sword, shredding the fabric of space

Drink from this bowl, all that is due, bitter is each sip that is poured on you

Earth that once was, now withers away, the dust of the ashes scatters

Seeing the fate that is common to man I wonder if any of this even matters

Hear the trumpets sound, the shaking of the ground, thunder peels as lightning flashes

I watch it all unfold just as it was foretold, dust to dust, and ashes to ashes

It is the end of all things, I am standing on the sun silently awaiting supernova
