The Feral Poet – Jake Allen Sharp

I will scratch my name into the bark of this tree

Be like the mystery

Of the lost colony

Left here alone, to disappear without a trace

No one will see my face

All I leave in this place

CROATOAN has a meaning but nobody knows it

Reminds me of my life, The Feral Poet

Life is but a breath and it will soon disappear

I will face it with no fear

For my destiny is clear

To the chains I am no longer bound

Dust returns to the ground

The lost and found

CROATOAN has a meaning but nobody knows it

Reminds me of my life, The Feral Poet

Become great in your eyes, build a big city

Enjoy the fake beauty

Never listen to me

Leaves that fall are pretty then they decay

But it will be okay

C – R – O – A

CROATOAN has a meaning but nobody knows it

I live here in the shadows, The Feral Poet
