For those who need a brief refresher, Peers at the Table is a neurodiversity civil rights campaign advocating for peer-led wellness centers in the community and peer support specialist staffing in mental healthcare.

Peers at the Table started in early 2017 as a response to Blue Sky Wellness Center in Fresno, CA, cutting vital services to its mental health consumers: laundry, showers, and meals were eliminated as a more clinical, top-down structure was enacted.  Here’s an article Eve Reiland wrote about it in the Bee.

And here is what people have to say about that and other changes that have happened to the center.  Some of these are older and some are newer; I just wanted them to have a permanent home on the internet because we deserve to be heard!
