For those who need a brief refresher, Peers at the Table is a neurodiversity civil rights campaign advocating for peer-led wellness centers in the community and peer support specialist staffing in mental healthcare.
Peers at the Table started in early 2017 as a response to Blue Sky Wellness Center in Fresno, CA, cutting vital services to its mental health consumers: laundry, showers, and meals were eliminated as a more clinical, top-down structure was enacted.
