In a way, it doesn’t really matter, because no matter which direction you turn to, you’re going to be met with a mine full of misinformation, Autistic illiteracy and frankly, dangerous neglect.

I haven’t really written much for a while, it often feels like everything has been said, and I’m not sure what I can add to the ever-growing treasure-trove of autistic writings. But, I remember back when my son was younger and I was looking for strategies to support him, and then when I was struggling and not sure about getting myself assessed, and I remember that what helped me most was reading lots of accounts by autistic people and parents of autistic children (autistic and otherwise).
