70 million Autistics around the world and Judith Newman didn’t write her book for the autistic market.

Um, yeah she did. Her Autistic market. Right now “The Autistic Market” is aimed at NT-moms of Autistic kids. Newman wrote for the NT-idea of the autistic market. So when she says she didn’t write for the #actuallyautistic market — she absolutely fucking means it. She never thought about 70 million Autistic people who exist on the planet today. Guess we’re just to avert thine eyes and pretend we don’t recognize hate speech against our people when we see it.

Autistics have been bashed on for years — so you know, now Judith Newman is calling us the fucking thought police. Nice one.

Let me illustrate the NT-version of the socially accepted “Autism Market” and the real Autism market.

Dear Judith Newman, I’m Writing this For You because You Didn’t Write For Me

Dear Judith Newman,

I have not read your book To Siri With Love and I frankly don’t intend to. I know this will frustrate some people, maybe even you but I don’t actually think it is relevant to the thing that I want to criticize. I have seen my fellow actually autistic people in pain from your book. I have read their critiques and there are things about your book that quite frankly are unlikely to be saved by added context. The transphobia that exists in the introduction to your book, that you wrote that you wanted the power to sterilize your son, the sexist and disrespectful way you referred to Amythest Schaber.

Yes, yes I know, you’ve since said that you no longer plan or intend to sterilize your son. The thing is it’s too late. You published that…

NT-Mom, Judith Newman, Prompts Autistic-Mom, Eve Reiland, to Out Herself. #TrueStory #AIB | #boycotttosiri

Judith Newman refers to Autistics like “Men In Black” (MIB) movie characters – we’re everywhere. This is true. We really are everywhere.

So many Autistics live their lives “blending” or “in the closet,” and refuse to be subjected to even more stigma and diminishment by sharing their neurotype to NTs.

So yes, this theory may have some merit. We are everywhere, and to Autistic-Illiterate NTs, invisible in our communities.

Oh hell, OK, I fully admit: Judith Newman got one almost right. But first, to confirm her theory, I have to out myself to share. I’m doing so right now ( it’s scary, hold me)Autistics are everywhere and we’re connected like MIB.

Problem: Newman got the department wrong — as she does with all things Autistic. I’m with the “Autistics in Black” (AIB).

Currently my suit is at the cleaners. Probably will be able to pick it up today…
